The ShareAI Applications<\/strong> enables you to seamlessly share your device\/s resources and contribute to a decentralized AI network. This guide explains how to use the ShareAI app effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entering the Network<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To start sharing your computing resources, toggle the Standby<\/strong> switch located on the left side of the application to enter the network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Important:<\/strong> You must enable at least one AI model<\/strong> for sharing. The toggle next to each model indicates if that model is enabled and available on the network from your device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Understanding Available Tokens<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Available Tokens<\/strong> displayed next to each AI model represent how many tokens you have earned by sharing that specific model with the network. When another user makes a request using the model hosted on your device, you earn additional tokens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AI Model Names and Parameters<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Each AI model has a name indicating:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Family Name:<\/strong> Such or deepseek<\/code> \ud83d\udd34<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Model Version:<\/strong> e.g., r1<\/code> \ud83d\udfe2<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Model Parameters:<\/strong> e.g., 1b<\/code>, 8b<\/code> (“b” stands for billions of parameters) \ud83d\udd35<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The larger the number of parameters, the better the quality of responses from the AI model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    VRAM Requirements and Recommendations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Your device\u2019s GPU VRAM determines which AI models you can efficiently run:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Below Recommended VRAM<\/strong>: The model will run, but performance may not be optimal. Upgrading your GPU or selecting a model more suitable for your current VRAM is recommended. \ud83d\udfe1<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Minimum VRAM Not Met<\/strong>: You cannot run this model, as your current GPU VRAM is insufficient. You’ll need a GPU with greater VRAM capacity to use this model. \ud83d\udd34<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
