Overview

The ShareAI Applications enables you to seamlessly share your device/s resources and contribute to a decentralized AI network. This guide explains how to use the ShareAI app effectively.

Entering the Network

To start sharing your computing resources, toggle the Standby switch located on the left side of the application to enter the network.

Important: You must enable at least one AI model for sharing. The toggle next to each model indicates if that model is enabled and available on the network from your device.

Understanding Available Tokens

The Available Tokens displayed next to each AI model represent how many tokens you have earned by sharing that specific model with the network. When another user makes a request using the model hosted on your device, you earn additional tokens.

AI Model Names and Parameters

Each AI model has a name indicating:

  • Family Name: Such or deepseek 🔴
  • Model Version: e.g., r1 🟢
  • Model Parameters: e.g., 1b, 8b (“b” stands for billions of parameters) 🔵

The larger the number of parameters, the better the quality of responses from the AI model.

VRAM Requirements and Recommendations

Your device’s GPU VRAM determines which AI models you can efficiently run:

  • Below Recommended VRAM: The model will run, but performance may not be optimal. Upgrading your GPU or selecting a model more suitable for your current VRAM is recommended. 🟡
  • Minimum VRAM Not Met: You cannot run this model, as your current GPU VRAM is insufficient. You’ll need a GPU with greater VRAM capacity to use this model. 🔴

Selecting Multiple Models

You can enable multiple AI models simultaneously. Doing so increases the likelihood of receiving network tasks, benefiting the overall ShareAI community.
