A collection and its tags#

Use a collection to group variants of the same model family or product. Tags identify the exact variants. Explain meaningful differences such as size, precision, supported use or intended deployment; avoid tags that leave providers guessing which variant they will run.

Create the collection#

  1. Open the accepted Creator workspace and start a new model or collection.
  2. Enter the model name, slug and a description covering intended use and limits.
  3. Add the required model tags and tag-specific descriptions.
  4. Choose supported collection-level serving and commercial settings.
  5. Review each tag’s effective policy and save the draft.

Write for a provider or builder choosing the model#

Describe the tasks it is intended for, relevant input/output behavior, known limitations and how the exact variant is identified. Use actual evaluation evidence when giving performance claims. Link to policies and resources your organization maintains.

Defaults and overrides#

The collection provides default policy. A model tag can have a supported override. Read the effective settings before saving so a private tag does not accidentally become available to an external provider audience.

Automate the same model#

Creator model-package API creates related metadata and tags in a single request. Use the same review and effective-policy checks afterward.
