Install and connect a provider device

Follow the current ShareAI installation flow, connect the device to the correct provider and verify its observed state in Console.

Use the installer and connection instructions offered by the current Provider workflow. This guide covers the checks around installation; supported operating systems, installer versions and hardware requirements are determined by the current distribution and chosen model.

Before installation#

Select the owning provider workspace in Console.
Confirm that the operating system, GPU driver, available GPU memory, storage and network meet the requirements of your intended model.
Use the official download destination linked from the ShareAI application or Provider onboarding flow.
Keep access to the device so you can troubleshoot connection and model-loading errors.

Connect the device#

Install and open the current ShareAI application. Complete its sign-in and provider-selection flow. Confirm the provider identity before connecting. Give the device a useful operational name that helps you distinguish it from other machines.

Verify in Console#

Open the Provider device list. Confirm that the expected device appears under the correct provider and that its observed connection state updates. A downloaded installer or a completed local login is not yet evidence of a connected provider device.

Choose and install an eligible model, then enable sharing in the application. Watch the device and model state in Console. A connected device with no enabled model will not provide that model’s inference capacity.

If a Windows installation cannot proceed#

Check the current installer’s operating-system and driver requirements, free disk space and GPU compatibility. Retain the exact installer version and error for support. Do not disable operating-system protections or download unofficial repackaged installers to bypass an error.
