Manage models on your device
Enable, pause and remove local ShareAI models while keeping device storage, provider permissions and network sharing state clear.
On this page
The device application manages local model files and runtime state. Console manages provider ownership, catalog settings and observed network activity. Use each surface for the part of the workflow it controls.

Enable or pause a model#
Use the model’s sharing control in the supported application. After changing it, check the observed state in Console. A disabled model should not be treated as available capacity simply because its files remain installed.
Remove a local model#
- Pause sharing for the model and confirm the intended device.
- Review the application’s removal confirmation and any running-work information.
- Remove the local model if you no longer need the files.
- Check free storage and the remaining model list. Reinstall the model before expecting to serve it again.
Review performance#
Watch loading errors, memory pressure, connection state and recorded task activity. Run only a configuration your hardware can sustain. Enabling more models does not guarantee more traffic and can compete for the same resources.
Next steps#
Device sessions helps correlate activity. Troubleshoot devices covers common checks.
