Think of sharing as three checks: the provider can participate, the device is connected and the model is eligible and enabled. Each check answers a different operational question.

State or resourceWhat it tells you
Provider profileWho owns and operates the provider account.
Connected deviceThe device has a current relationship with the provider.
Model in your catalogThe provider has a catalog association or access to the model.
Model enabled for sharingThe model is offered from the device when other requirements are met.
Observed tasks and sessionsThe activity actually recorded for the device.

Start sharing#

  1. Open your provider and verify the device is connected.
  2. Select a model that the device can run and that the provider is allowed to serve.
  3. Enable the model and device sharing through the supported application controls.
  4. Verify the observed state and watch subsequent activity rather than assuming that a toggle guarantees traffic.

Pause or stop#

Use the application controls or the documented Device API command. A stop acknowledgement confirms the request was accepted; inspect the device state to confirm the outcome. Keep existing tasks separate from future allocation.

Read your activity#

Use device sessions, model activity and the current account balances to understand what happened. Token counts, exchange balances, rewards and purchased credits are different measurements; use the exact labels and units shown in Console.

Automate deliberately#

Provider access manages account-level resources. Device Remote Control acts on a particular device.
