Understand customer identities
Each OAuth client receives a different identifier for the same ShareAI customer.
Each ShareAI customer has a different identifier for each OAuth client. Use the sub value as your customer key within that client. Do not treat it as a global ShareAI user ID.
Personal accounts and organizations have separate identities. A person may connect their personal account, then select an organization they administer. Those are different customers for billing and access.
Customers in Console shows the client-scoped ID, display name, User or Organization, organization name when applicable, and the selected subscription. Opening View limits analytics to that client and customer. Global account IDs, private prompts and response contents are not exposed.
If your application has multiple OAuth clients, retain the client identity alongside the subject. Do not try to correlate customers across clients from their subject values.
