Start a conversation in Chat Playground

Chat Playground lets you try models from your browser. Use the workspace that should pay for the conversation and check its available credits before sending requests.

Send your first message#

1. Open Playground.
2. Choose Select Model and pick an available model.
3. Type a short prompt, such as “Explain this idea in three bullet points.”
4. Select Send message or press Enter. Use Shift + Enter for a line break.
5. Read the response as it arrives. Use Stop response if you want to interrupt generation.

Continue the conversation#

Send a follow-up in the same conversation when the model should use the preceding context. Conversation context can increase the input processed by the model, so a short new message is not necessarily the entire input of the next request.

Check consumption#

Open Usage for the same workspace and period. Stopping a response does not undo work already processed or guarantee a zero charge.

If a message fails#

Read the displayed error. Check model availability, access restrictions and credits before retrying. If part of a response already arrived, keep it and decide whether to resend; retrying starts another request.
