Troubleshoot missing or unexpected usage
Check ShareAI workspace selection, source attribution, time filters and request results when usage is missing or a recorded cost is unexpected.
On this page
Start with the recorded request and its owning workspace. A page-loading error and an empty usage result mean different things.

Check in this order#
- Confirm the workspace that owns the credential or accepted agreement.
- Select All sources and All consumption.
- Expand the date range, noting that chart buckets use UTC.
- Clear Model and Tag, then refresh.
- Reapply the source and environment filters one at a time.
An error is not a zero balance#
If Usage says data could not be loaded, refresh or return later. Do not interpret a failed analytics read as zero requests. Likewise, a chart that did not load does not invalidate a successfully displayed numeric breakdown.
Retries and interrupted responses#
A repeated request can produce a separate usage record. Stopping generation does not undo completed processing. Preserve the original result and request identifier when investigating retries.
Ask for help#
Include the workspace type, selected period, source/environment, model identifier and request ID or timestamp. Describe the expected and observed result. Keep API secrets, payment details and private prompt text out of routine support messages.
